I like your story very much. I think you may have used the word beach too often. You should print out your story and read through it and highlight every single word beach. Sometimes when you said beach you could have used other terms. For example "I stood on my beach..." Change it too something like "I stood at the edge of the water, my toes squishing in the sand..etc" something like that. A beach is a beautiful place that you could use a lot of description with. I would suggest maybe googling images of beaches. Or if you live near one go down there with a pen and paper and write. Also, don't forget about all the elements when you are describing the beach. (the sand, the sky, the clouds, the wind, the sun, the suns rays, etc.) You have a great story idea. Good luck :) I hope I helped! Feel free to email me if you have any other questions :)

Lived in Panama for four years...

He did not hobble up from the Eastern shore...There is no Eastern Shore in Panama...Panama runs East and West...Giving it a North and South shore...often refered to as the Pacific side or the Atlantic side

No Adobe...The ruins of Old Panama are cut stone and mortar.....The countless rain storms would have melted the adobe...

No sure if they would have had a Cathedral Tower with a clock...a Bell yes...Clock no...Clocks were for Town halls...not churches....

Pueblo is a Mexican term used in the American SW...Villa seems right...

You start from a beach then go to a rocky shore line...

Chickens and Pigs should not be hungerily ...recommend lazily

Take Care Good Luck

You're a hell of a poet, I have to say.

I'm really torn between the first and the second, heavy messages in both of those, love the imagery...I guess I'd say the second, I feel like it's a bit more raw and real, the first feels a bit forced.

They are both very good(:
The first is great. It's got lots of metaphors and similes and stuff but it's still easy to understand and organized.
It's really deep and that's what's really important about lyrics, that they're from the heart, if lyrics are empty they won't do anything.

The second is wonderful too, it's relatable and it's just really nice.
I really hope you submit the lyrics and win!! that would be great.
I can tell you put a lot of effort and passion into the songs and that's what's most important. (:

It could be this one:
Mindwalk (1990)
IMDb synopsis:
A US politician (Sam Waterston) visits his poet friend (John Heard) in Mont. St. Michel, France. While walking through the medieval island discussing their philosophies of life they happen upon Sonja (Liv Ullman), a scientist in recluse, who joins in their conversation. The two men listen to the ideas of this brilliant woman and discuss how her ideas can work in their own politician and poet lives.
Here are images of Mont St. Michel:

This is another film I want to check on: "Insignificance". // That one isn't it, so I might stick with "Mindwalk" for now.

I truly enjoy poetry about Time, so right there you have my attention.

You have a lot of great imagery, but also use cliche impressions.
How is sand grizzled? I would love to see this in your poem so that I can relate to the tide washing it away.

I like the use of circular clock, eternal, cyclical. Your description of Autumn and the shriveling, wrinkling leaf is wonderful.

The ending:
.....Time waits for nothing and no one,
.....it simply goes on ...

doesn't do justice to the many lush scenes you've created. t

1) A and B. There is no way to determine a rest frame of reference in special relativity.

2) B. Special relativity is symmetric, you think that they are moving and contracted, they think that you are moving and contracted.

3) The tides wouldn't be as high, because the moons gravity wouldn't be felt as strongly on Earth. Gravity decreases by the square of the distance, so the moon's gravity would only be pulling 1/4 as strong if it was twice as far away.
